Calling all adventure-seekers and storytellers! We’re now accepting applications for our next round of Seasonal Destination Travel Influencer opportunities with New Mexico True — running August 2025 through June 2026. If exploring the stunning, culture-rich corners of New Mexico sounds like your kind of gig, we want to hear from you!

Think sweeping landscapes, rich culture, unforgettable bites, and the kind of moments that make people say, “Where is that?!” You’ll get to show off what makes New Mexico special—and bring your audience along for the ride. Let’s make some magic together.

Here are the deets!

  • Trip Duration: Two (2) nights, three (3) days, all-expenses-paid seasonal trip (Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall) to a specific destination in New Mexico.

  • Travel Dates: For each destination we are working with, we team up with a different influencer four times a year to showcase the best of New Mexico’s activities, local businesses, and attractions each destination wishes to highlight. The specific travel dates will be coordinated based on the trip’s theme, the destination’s preferences, and your availability.

  • Expenses Covered: Airfare, lodging, rental car, food and drink, experiences, tours, and gas.

  • Deliverables: High-resolution content published within three (3) weeks post-travel. Required: three (3) posts on Instagram or TikTok and fifteen (15) original stories shared to a Highlight.

Here’s what type of influencer will best fit the objectives of these campaigns:

  1. Regional Influencers: From New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Nevada, or California.

  2. Social Media Presence: Public creator or business account on Instagram or TikTok with a minimum of 5,000 followers. Regrettably, exceptions cannot be made regarding the follower benchmark.

  3. Storytelling Skills: Capable of conveying compelling and vivid experiences to ignite wanderlust.

  4. Engagement: Influencers who create engaging conversations and celebrate the unique aspects of New Mexico.

  5. Responsiveness: Consistent interaction with comments to foster further conversation and connection.

  6. Aesthetic Harmony: An authentic style and creative approach that aligns with travel.

  7. High Engagement Rate: We want to collaborate with individuals who have a strong connection with their audience and demonstrate an exceptional level of engagement.

Here’s what will be required:

  • Three (3) posts on Instagram and or TikTok and fifteen original Instagram Stories shared to a Highlight. The time period to publish content is three (3) weeks, and that timeline will be determined according to your travel dates.

  • Influencers will be required to deliver high-resolution versions of their published content with usage rights given to Simply Social Media and their Client for social channels, web usage, and campaign reporting in perpetuity. Other additional usages may be negotiated separately.

  • Once we have determined that the micro-influencer meets the requirements, we will take the conversation to the next step! A comprehensive one-sheet will be sent, enabling us to delve deeper into the details. This one-sheet will encompass crucial aspects such as negotiating deliverables and discussing compensation.
