After a decade of curating unforgettable influencer events, we faced a bittersweet moment: for the first time, we couldn’t personally host one of our beloved InstaMeets - ¡Mira!Las Cruces in @visitlascruces - one of our all time favorite events to attend with groups! Life had led us down different paths—Caitlin embracing motherhood on maternity leave and Amy bravely undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. Yet, in our absence, our incredible community rose to the occasion: ✨ Carly, our Creative Content Manager, seamlessly stepped into Influencer Relations, in addition to Creative Directing, infusing the event with her signature energy, enthusiasm, infectious laugh, can do attitude and creative vision. @carlyboldlygoes ✨ Stephanie, a cherished friend and the force behind Edible New Mexico, took on the role of Event Facilitator. Her dedication ensured everything ran smoothly, reflecting the same commitment to our New Mexico community that shines through her publication and wildly successful events. @ediblenewmexico / @stephcameron ✨ Jo, a talented New Mexico influencer we’ve collaborated with many times, generously assisted with transportation and general fun time and welcoming vibes. @average.jo.adventures ✨ Krys led an inspiring hike through the Slot Canyon, sharing her extensive knowledge of local outdoor recreation and energizing the group with her passion. We’ve also had the distinct pleasure to have worked with her several times as well! @justakrys Our hearts are full of gratitude. You know how sometimes dreams come true?! Working with @carlyboldlygoes is that and THEN SOME! We are incredibly lucky to have her on the team as our Content Creation Manager. She is incredibly creative, collaborative, energetic, enthusiastic, imaginative and supportive. She met us working at her previous job at Los Luceros Historic Site and had a blast collaborating about how to educate the public about the history and culture of New Mexico through social media. By day Carly is a full time Archaeologist with the State Land Office and by night she is the Creative Content Manager/Hype Woman for Simply Social. She is passionate about photography, birding, hiking, education and engagement, social media, and New Mexico. She enjoys life with her husband, two cats, and two dogs and does nothing without enthusiasm.
