Client Love Letters - Daniel Zillmann and Daisy Geoffrey, Santa Fe Opera

Working with Amy and Caitlin is a dream - our projects start with throwing around big ideas and their response is always a very excited “yes!” It’s an “anything is possible” type of working relationship, and the outcomes of our projects have exceeded our expectations. On top of that, they’re two of the most fun and kind professionals to hustle social media with, always a plus.

In our 2016 season we collaborated with Simply Social Media for the second year, building on our initial two Instameets with them held in 2015. This year we increased the number of Instameets to three, and attendance to over 200 people. With each Instameet Caitlin and Amy brought a fantastic and influential group of Instagram users, including a wonderful group from

Albuquerque, a market Santa Fe Opera is continuously trying to target. During each Instameet, which began with tailgating, then tours, presentations, and watching the final dress rehearsals of our first three productions, the #sfoinstameet trended on Twitter, a definite highlight of our social media moments this season.

Then we took it up a notch and created a photo contest to run in tandem with the Instameets - thanks to Simply Social Media’s constant promotion we received more than 1,000 entries. They brought in a panel to help narrow the selection, made up of people from the local arts community, and our summer of collaboration ended with a highly successful photo exhibition of the selected 60, held at Iconik Coffee Roasters. This process required working late nights, weekends, and frequent contact, all of which Amy and Caitlin attended to with ease and willingness, ready to do whatever it might take to make the show a success.

During our initial meetings with Amy and Caitlin we expressed the hope of connecting with the community in a new way, and they certainly delivered. Through the Instameets and working with Simply Social Media we’ve been able to create meaningful new relationships with people in both Santa Fe and Albuquerque, and can’t wait to see what social media adventures we go on next summer. We recommend them unequivocally.

Sincerely,
Daniel Zillmann and Daisy Geoffrey
