Who’s ready to travel somewhere in New Mexico you haven’t been before?!
We are producing multiple seasonal campaigns over the course of a year and are searching for regional micro-influencers to travel as singles, couples, families, friend groups, and are interested in sharing their travel experiences throughout various locations in New Mexico (see application for destinations). Have an idea for a unique angle on how you travel and who you travel with? Pitch us! Think exploring new places, supporting locally owned businesses, and having meaningful conversations with your followers about your travel experiences, including unique outdoor adventures, cultural sites, cuisine, and more!
The Deets!
Your participation in this campaign will include a two (2) night, three (3) day, all expenses paid seasonal trip to a specific destination for which that micro-influencer is selected. We will work with micro-influencers to build travel itineraries based on suggestions from the local tourism department. After travel is completed, the micro-influencer will have three (3) weeks to publish the required deliverables. All costs associated with the campaign will be covered via reimbursement, including but not limited to lodging, food and drink, experiences opportunities, and gas (NM is a big state and we know this can add up!)
Here’s what we are looking for in an influencer for this particular campaign.
Public creator or business account on Instagram or TikTok with a minimum of 5,000 followers.
Someone who can tell a comprehensive story about experience and place. 2,220 characters aren’t necessary, but the ability to convey an experience is essential to inspire and encourage others to travel. “✌️Desert Vibez 🌵” isn’t gonna cut it.
Someone who consistently creates opportunities for conversation about the topic(s) they post about. We want people talking about how unique, diverse, and special New Mexico is!
Someone who consistently responds to all comments made on their posts to further the conversation (or at least the majority—DM for collabs doesn’t deserve your time!).
Someone whose niche or aesthetic (if they have one) will jive with posting about travel.
Someone whose engagement rate and follower quality meet or exceed the industry standard benchmarks.
Here’s what will be required in exchange.
Four (4) posts on Instagram and or TikTok and fifteen original stories shared to a Highlight (shared posts to stories are not considered original.). The time period to publish content is three (3) weeks and that timeline will be determined according to your travel dates. *Amount of deliverables may be negotiated by platform, quantity and/or compensation.
Influencers will be required to deliver high resolution versions of their published content with usage rights given to Simply Social Media and their Client for social channels usage only. Other additional usage may be negotiated separately.

We will be providing a list of a few influencers to each tourism department based on the type of influencer they are looking for, including niche based on anticipated travel itinerary, and they have the final decision of whom is selected. We will respond to all submissions, but please be patient with us as we anticipate a lot of entries!
