The Museum of New Mexico Foundation (MNMF) supports the Museum of New Mexico system, in collaboration with the Museum of New Mexico Board of Regents and the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs. The Foundation’s principal activities are fund development for exhibitions and education programs, retail and licensing programs, financial management, advocacy and special initiatives.

We are in search of a diverse group of creators who are interested in participating in a brand ambassador campaign to promote the MNMF member benefits to their audience. Influencers will be provided a one-year Sponsor Level Membership to the MNMF in order to experience the plethora of benefits, including free, unlimited admission for one year to four state museums in Santa Fe and seven of the eight historic sites statewide, invitations to exhibition previews and members-only events, subscriptions to quarterly issues of El Palacio Magazine, 10% discount at Museum Shops and online at shopmuseum.org and dining at Museum Hill Café, among many others!

For a select number of member previews, we will host photo contests for the selected influencers with  prizes consisting of MNMF museum shop gift cards and other merchandise.

This opportunity is being offered in exchange for social promotion.

Sponsor Level Membership benefits include:

  • Free, unlimited admission for one year to four state museums in Santa Fe and seven of the eight historic sites statewide

  • Physical and digital membership cards

  • Invitations to exhibition previews and members-only events

  • Subscriptions to quarterly El Palacio and Member News magazines and bi-weekly Member E-News

  • 10% at four Museum Shops when open and always at shopmuseum.org

  • Invitation to members-only Museum Shops Double Discount Sale twice a year

  • 10% dining discount at Museum Hill Café

  • Invitations to Member Mondays, small group exhibition tours (when in-person programs return)

  • 2 Member for a Day Passes, gives your guests free admission to four state museums in Santa Fe, plus discounts at our Museum Shops and the Museum Hill Café for one day

  • Membership in the North American Reciprocal Museum Association (NARM), grants you free admission and discounts at more than 1,000 cultural institutions in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada

Here’s what we are looking for in an influencer for this particular campaign: 

  • Someone who lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico or the surrounding areas. 

  • Someone who has built an authentic community of a minimum of 1,000 Instagram followers.

  • Someone who loves art and culture and can share in a way that positively promotes the Museum of New Mexico Foundation and the state museums and historic sites. 

  • Someone who consistently creates opportunities for conversation about the topic(s) they post about. 

  • Someone who consistently responds to all comments made on their posts to further the conversation (or at least the majority—DM for collabs doesn’t deserve your time!).

  • Someone whose niche or aesthetic (if they have one) will make sense with posting about arts and culture.


Here’s what will be required in exchange.

  • Attendance with plus one at exhibition previews and members-only events on July 1, August 5, and late winter, TBD.

  • A minimum of two (2) Instagram posts or Reels and eight (8) Stories.

  • Use of branded content partner tools.
